Rahman said old consumers will be given priority and new strategies were being taken to provide new consumers with 3G facilities. "The strategy for distributing SIM cards with 3G facilities will be drawn up in the current month and the governing body of Teletalk will take a final decision on Jul 15," he added.
The Teletalk official said they were considering distributing the SIM cards through lottery or according to the amount of usages.
"Old consumers will be able to switch their 2G SIM cards to 3G services," he added.
